Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions are medications which appear on the reverse of your prescription which your doctor would like you to continue on a regular basis. Please allow up to 2 working days for issuing your repeat prescriptions.
Notification: Are you taking gabapentin or pregabalin? (Lyrica, Alzain, Neurontin)
The law is changing from 1 April 2019. Pregabalin and gabapentin are being reclassifed as controlled drugs. Please see Pregablin and Gabapentin Patient hand out.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or clinical pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
