PLEASE NOTE that there is no regulatory requirement to prove identity, address, immigration status or provide an NHS number in order to register.
However, where possible Preferable identification can help your registration to be processed more smoothly and best types include:
Passport
Birth Certificate
HC2 Certificate
Rough sleepers’ identity badge
Hostel Registration / mail forwarding letter.
Proof of your current address (a letter sent to you within the last 3 months)

Temporary Registration
If you’re currently staying within our GP surgery area for more than 24 hours but less than 3 months, you can ask to register as a temporary resident. You can find more information on registering as a temporary resident on the NHS website.
